Caring for our future
Back to School
Resource Fair
We hosted our third annual Back to School Resource Fair,
welcoming over 450 families and child care providers for a day
centered on preparation, connection, and community. More than
330 backpacks 昀椀lled with essential school supplies and literacy
books were distributed, helping children start the school year
ready to learn and succeed. Community organizations from across
San Diego County joined us onsite, providing families and providers
with access to valuable information, resources, and services.
The event was 昀椀lled with joyful moments—from arts and crafts
and interactive activities to raf昀氀es, celebrations, and countless
smiles—creating a welcoming space where families felt supported
and connected. Events like this demonstrate CDA’s role as a
trusted community hub—going beyond service delivery to build
connections that strengthen families and providers alike.
