Supporting San Diego child care businesses
Shared Services
Alliance
With my coach’s support,
I updated my policies,
established a recordkeeping
system, and prepared resource
for families making them
accessible when needed.
CDA partnered with YMCA Resource and
Referral Services to help child care providers
sustain and enhance their business through
the Shared Services Alliance (SSA) program,
which started as a pilot initiative in 2022.
This year, a select group of 50 child care
providers in South San Diego were chosen
to participate in this program, offering
access to a comprehensive suite of business
supports, including a user-friendly technology
platform and hands-on coaching designed
to boost enrollment, streamline operations,
and increase long-term 昀椀nancial stability.
By equipping providers with technology,
coaching, and business tools, CDA is
building a stronger early care and education
system—where providers thrive, and
children receive the highest quality care.

Through individualized
coaching and technical
assistance, my con昀椀dence
with technology increased.
